Bills are mailed on January 15, March 15, May 15, July 15, September 15 and November 15. Bills are due 30 days after mailing date. A 10% penalty is added if paid after due date. If not paid within 5 days of due date, service may be disconnected with a reconnection fee charged.
After meters are read by town personnel, they are then keyed in the billing computer. A hi-low list is then printed and those meters are re-read before bills are printed and mailed.
