DESCRIPTION:<p>Hosted by the Town of Halifax Farmers Market - 1st Saturday 
 Community Yard Sales starting in May and going through October.Â  Particip
 ation in one or more of the Community Yard Sales requires\; completing the
  registration form and the non-refundable $10.00 rental fee to be received
  in the Halifax Town Hall no later than 5:00pm on Friday prior to the sale
 .</p>\n<p>Yard sales will start at 8am\; Check-in & set up is from 6:45am 
 to 7:45am.Â  One six foot table is provided to the first 6 people to sign 
 up for each yard sale date.Â  Pop up tents\, table and chairs are allowed 
 but not provided by the Town.</p>\n<p>Only small household items\, books\,
  clothing\, small furniture and toys are allowed to be sold.Â  Vehicles mu
 st be moved after unloading to an area designated by management.Â  All ite
 ms must be removed at the end of the event.Â  <span style='text-decoration
 : underline\;'>No items may be placed in Market trash cans.</span>Â  Marke
 t Staff has the right to refuse items deemed not family appropriate and th
 ose items must be removed from your space when notified.</p>

DESCRIPTION:<p>Who doesn't like bacon...Coming to the Town of Halifax Farme
 rs' Market on May 18th a demonstration by Hudson Heritage Farms on the mak
 ing of home cured bacon.Â  As the Farm to Table movement progresses and in
 dividuals become more aware of the sources of their food products\, and cu
 riosity surges in the old arts of cooking and food preparations\, we see a
  renewed interest in charcuterie and the preparation of home cured bacon.Â
   Hudson Heritage Farms located in Elmo is a local producer of natural pas
 ture raised meat products.Â  Denise Hudson from the farm will be at the To
 wn of Halifax Farmers Market on May 18th\, 2013 and will present a demonst
 ration class on the home curing of bacon at 10:00 am.Â  Also look for othe
 r classes presented by Hudson Heritage Farms on meat preparation later in 
 the summer at the Elmo Grocery Store and the Town of Halifax Farmers' Mark
 et.</p>
