Market Days this season are Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon. Conveniently located downtown in the Halifax Courthouse Historic District, you'll find locally grown vegetables, fruits, fresh baked goods, eggs, special canned recipes, cut flowers, arts and crafts.
If you are planning visits to the Halifax Farmers Market, STAY and enjoy our Southern Hospitality, lunch at The Packhouse or Pino's; a restful night at Cage's B&B; a quiet stroll through the Mountain Road Historic District; dining at Molasses Grill; shopping at Garland's Jewelry, Toot's Creek Antiques, Triangle Florist and more. Anyone interested in becoming a vendor can call Denise Barksdale with the Town of Halifax: 434-476-2343. Vendor permit applications for the 2011 Season are now available at Halifax Town Hall, 70 South Main Street. The permit fee for the entire season at the Halifax Farmers Market is only $25.00 for the season or $5.00 per Saturday. Checks should be made payable to the Town of Halifax.
