To All Town of Halifax Customers:
Halifax Town Hall will be closed on Tuesday, November 3rd in observance of Election Day and on Wednesday, November 11th in observance of Veteran’s Day. Please be aware that the Town of Halifax will be picking up recyclables this week on Friday, November 6th and on Friday, November 13th due to the modified Holiday schedule. The regular town curbside recycling will resume on Wednesday, November 18th as customary.
The Town of Halifax Solid Waste Department will conduct its solid waste pick-up during the week of Election & Veteran’s Day on a modified schedule:
Monday, November 2nd & Monday, November 9th- Residents normally served on Monday will have solid waste picked up.
Tuesday, November 3rd & Wednesday, November 11th- Town of Halifax is closed for Election Day and Veteran’s Day, respectively.
Wednesday, November 4th & Tuesday, November 10th – Residents normally served on Tuesday will have solid waste picked up.
Thursday, November 5th & Thursday, November 12th- Residents normally served on Thursday will have solid waste picked up.
Friday, November 6th & Friday, November 13th- The Town of Halifax will pick up recyclables (NO GLASS). The Solid Waste Department will resume regular weekly curbside recycling on Wednesday, November 18th.
