The Planters that line Main Street in the historic Town of Halifax benefit businesses, residents, and visitors, making all feel welcome. With the “Sponsor a Planter” program this year the Town of Halifax was able to continue the Banister River Garden Club’s beautification project in which its members started and sustained for many years. These seasonal flower arrangements created by Abbott-Farm, Garden & Gun are placed and maintained at VDOT approved locations throughout the downtown and central business district.
